Atima & Indian defence
Atima has won the 9th iDEX Open Challenge for an Electric Tactical All Terrain Vehicle (E-TATV). Applications include stealth forward patrolling and stealth reconnaissance, among others. The technology will help expand India’s capabilities, secure troops, and reduce overall running costs for the Army.
iDEX is a daring new approach by the Indian government to bridge national innovation capacity with defence needs. It is a one-of-its-kind initiative globally and is becoming a key mechanism in accelerating Indian defence innovation.
Atima batteries for European combat forces
Atima won an order to supply tactical batteries to European combat forces. M2M Factory & AMG Pro, large distributors of defence and energy equipment, worked with Atima on the Field Pack to serve soldiers across the desert, snow, urban, and forest environments.
The director of M2M Factory noted that Atima “delivered this solution from concept to creation within 60 days, something unheard of in the global defence industry." A rare example (thus far) of Indian high technology exports to the West, the CEO of AMG Pro noted that they would showcase the Field Pack at EuroSatory, the largest defence exhibition in Europe.
